I've noticed that we've mostly been handing out permabans so far so I'm looking to make some janny guidelines for them to consult regarding the length and severity of punishments for specific infractions, post your suggestions here for what the punishment should be for a given scenario. I believe that to be active, every internet community must satisfy inherent urges that the average person either can't or has difficulties satisfying, whether they be physical, ambitious or social urges. This naturally means that all internet communities are populated by people seeking things that they can't experience otherwise, and these things tend to be harmful for themselves and other people due to shame being lifted. The Sharty, 4Chan, the Shoally are all prime examples of this, same with all normgroid sites. I believe that all internet communities without clear and carefully planned ideals will eventually deteriorate and become morally wrong. Not because it's natural for people, but it's natural for the internet if that makes sense.
Basically, I believe that the definition of this site is too shrouded in mystery to an extent, it should be very easy to see the purpose of this site from the perspective of someone new. Not only would this bring in new people, but strengthen the loyalty of the people who were here before, and it would help satisfy le primal urges. How this is enacted can be extremely varied, from pinned messages, css, the home page, etc. I hate the idea of the site being "bringing back le good old days of the sharty". It's mootxico level stuff or something.

5. You will NOT self insert as anything in the nas coal list.
6. You will NOT spam the site excessively, whether it is excessive or not is up to moderators.
My rules are made with the intention of clarity and with more lenience in some areas, while being harsher in others. Posting nas should be allowed in my opinion, any form of harmful nas should be specifically defined in the nas coal list, so that it's easier for people to post 'tosses, gigachads, etc. I also added a rule against homosexuality because I believe that it has no place here, even if ironic.
For moderators:
1. You are to only ban by what you see listed in the rules, anything else and you will be demoted or even permabanned depending on severity. For users, email [email protected] and explain why if you believe that you have been banned by a janny breaking this rule.
